Under the Influence
Dr. Fränzi Ng, Ed.D., TFT-RCT
Excerpts from my journal:
- “Last night I made a delicious ravioli dinner, prepared from scratch using wholesome ingredients like organic buffalo, ginger, garlic, onions and sour cream. Only a few ravioli into the meal, my mind suddenly shifted and I became obsessed with desert: what I would have, how much I would have and how I could sneak some extra without anyone noticing. I pushed my plate aside (less than half eaten) and started scouring the kitchen for chocolate and whipping cream. Nothing could deter me from my single-minded quest for sweets, not even the humiliation of losing my free will over this.”
- “I tried a new hand cream. Its organic ingredients and proprietary formulation came highly recommended. I put it on and marvelled at the rapid softening of my skin. Less than two hours later, my tummy was as hard as a rock, my back was hurting, and I had difficulties breathing, probably due to the sudden misalignment of my spine.”
- “This afternoon, I treated myself to a rare cup of rich herbal tea, steeped with honey and organic cream. By the time I was done with my little ritual, my kids’ voices were becoming shrill to my ears, their movements obnoxious. Only ten minutes later, the very presence of my 8 and 5-year old in the same room was overwhelming. I yelled at them to stop “screaming” (their voices were normal compared to mine) and to stop “running around” (they were walking purposefully). I went to my bedroom, closed the door and began to fall into a depressed and hopeless state.”
In each of these real-life examples, I was under the influence of Individual Energy Toxins (IETs). An IET can be anything in your environment, it can even be regarded as safe, maybe even healthy and beneficial, but will trigger an unpleasant reaction in your body, mind and spirit. For reasons beyond your control, your energy and the energy of the toxic substance are not compatible. This incompatibility can manifest itself in the sudden onset of cravings, physical pain, anxiety, anger, depression and self-sabotage. Common culprits are foods like wheat, corn, eggs; drinks like pop, milk and decaffeinated coffee; and substances like laundry detergent, fabric softener, perfume, shampoo and all sorts of air fresheners.
Knowing your IETs and avoiding them can lead to a significant improvement in quality of life. I was tremendously relieved to realize that the changes in my physical comfort and mood were not just “my personality”; rather, they were who I turned into under the influence of one or several energy toxins. Before I was aware of the phenomenon of Individual Energy Toxins and how to address it, only time and sleep were able to relieve my symptoms. Now, I can eliminate them in just minutes, thanks to a very powerful treatment protocol that was developed by Dr. Roger Callahan, founder and developer of Thought Field Therapy (TFT). Over the past ten years of practicing Thought Field Therapy and using the Individual Energy Toxin protocol with my clientele, I have credited this simple intervention many times for saving clients from unnecessary suffering and broken relationships.
On the advanced levels of Thought Field Therapy, practitioners have two safe and rigorous protocols that allow them not only to identify IETs but also to eliminate their effects on the body system. These treatments do not offer a permanent cure. Rather they create temporary relief so a client can become pain, anxiety and irritability-free for the moment. The substance will then have to be avoided (we often find substitutes) until the system is robust enough again to tolerate it. Peace of mind can be re-established within minutes of applying the treatment and a person can return to normal functioning.
These powerful IET protocols have already helped hundreds of individuals around the world. Dr. Callahan’s wife, for example, used them when she had to go through a series of very painful Stage IV cancer treatments. Once she applied the IET protocols, instead of suffering from the vicious side-effects of her medication, she travelled the world, worked full time and did not miss a beat. Six years later, she is considered cured of cancer. To read her story in full go to: http://drng.net/TFTCancerJoanneCallahansStory.htm.
These protocols have also been used in the treatment of AIDS. A very sick Dr. David Hanson (he was on permanent disability) is now considered AIDS free. He is also the sole survivor of his AIDS cohort of 20; individuals who were diagnosed at the same time he was. Identifying and abstaining from his toxins was a very significant turning point in his recovery. Read his compelling story at http://drng.net/ReturnfromDeathAIDS.htm.
A few years ago, when we were travelling throughout BC, my husband came down with a dramatic, acute case of bronchitis. Within 24 hours he was back to normal thanks to the fact that we soon discovered and treated for his rather surprising toxin. Read more at http://drng.net/The24-HourBronchitis.htm.
If you are interested in finding out if there are any toxins in your life that may be causing you distress, I would be delighted to assist you. I regularly have folks come to my office or call me from abroad, armed with an extensive list of everything they use on a regular basis. When I am asked to help someone find relief from depression, chronic pain, obsessive compulsive disorder or anxiety attacks, the making of a food, drink and substance list is mandatory homework, as IETs are almost always an aggravating factor with these conditions.
If you wish to learn more about Thought Field Therapy, I invite you to my FREE Live Demonstration Seminar at UNBC, Friday March 19, form 7–9 pm and Saturday, March 20, from 10 am–12 noon. I will offer live demonstrations with volunteers from the audience so you can witness and experience the unprecedented effectiveness of this powerful rapid response therapy. Seating is limited. Call me at 250 964 0118 to reserve your spot. Bring a friend. I hope to see you there.
